Hi, I'm Joanna Becker
I love helping people, finding the most efficient ways to do things, and walking around grocery stores. This is why I loved working as a personal shopper through Instacart, getting people what they need when they need it. What I disliked about Instacart was how expensive and impersonal it felt.
That's why I started Monarch Delivery. My system is simple and efficient: If your delivery address and preferred stores are within 5 miles of Lancaster City, call, text, or email me to tell me what you want and when you need it by. If I don't pick up right away, I'll reply quickly (most likely within the hour, and definitely within 24 hours) to set a delivery time. You pay for your grocery order with a fixed delivery fee ranging from $25 to $65, depending on the number of items in your order. I can accept reimbursement through cash, check, or card (online and in person).

Standard Shops
21-50 items | $45
3-8 Bags | ~1.5 Hours

Flat delivery service pricing - no percentages, no surprises!
Instead of a percentage of your groceries, you pay a flat service fee based on how many shopping items are in your order. Your final total will be your grocery list cost + the flat service fee.

What counts as an

Substitutions are pre-approved for your staples.

If an essential item is completely out of stock you will be notified for a follow-up delivery (checking other stores).

Heavy products such as water cases or large pet food bags count as one full item each due to weight and size.

Your final cost will be the grocery price + a fixed delivery fee based on the number of items in your order. Need a change? No worries, just message or call anytime!
Schedule Your Delivery
Set a time for your order to be delivered. From there, receive notifications and updates through text, email, or phone while your items are shopped.

How does payment work?

Joanna sends your shopping list with estimated total and an invoice for the total and delivery fee through Square.

The delivery fee acts as a buffer for minor price differences between virtual items and actual price in store.

Your final total is sent as a photo of the receipt and from there you are either refunded the difference or you may put it towards next time.

No surprise charges - any substitutions are pre-approved by you, and you'll be notified if any item exceeds expected cost.

Cancellations prior to checkout are refunded, but your delivery cannot be cancelled after the shopping is finished.
